Main Ingredient:
Doxycycline Hydrochloride
Specification:
10%
Pharmacological Action:
This product belongs to the tetracycline class of antibiotics.
Doxycycline works by reversibly binding to the 30S subunit of bacterial ribosomes, interfering with the attachment of tRNA to the mRNA-ribosome complex, thereby inhibiting protein synthesis and bacterial growth.
It is effective against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Doxycycline is well absorbed orally, minimally affected by food, has high bioavailability, strong tissue penetration, and a long half-life. In pigs, the plasma protein binding rate is approximately 93%.
