Pharmacological Action:
This product is an antipyretic, analgesic, and anti-inflammatory drug. It is a salt formed by calcium acetylsalicylate (aspirin calcium) complexed with urea.
After oral administration in pigs and chickens, it is rapidly absorbed and hydrolyzed into aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid), which is then quickly metabolized in the liver and converted into salicylic acid, the main active form responsible for its antipyretic and analgesic effects.
Indications:
Used to reduce fever and relieve pain in pigs and poultry.
Dosage and Administration:
Oral administration:

80 mg per 1 kg body weight for pigs

80–160 mg per 1 kg body weight for chickens

Duration: As prescribed (typically up to 5 days)
Adverse Reactions:
None observed when used according to the recommended dosage.
Precautions:

Not for use in laying hens producing eggs for human consumption.

Do not use in combination with other salicylate antipyretic analgesics.

Co-administration with corticosteroids may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding.

Alkaline drugs may reduce its effectiveness.

Continuous administration should not exceed 5 days.
